Welcome to The Big Baller Challenge (“we”, “us”, “our”). We operate skill-based prize competitions via this website (the “Site”). By creating an account, purchasing or submitting entries, or otherwise using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1) About the Promoter
- Legal entity: The Big Baller Challenge LTD
- Company number: 16808185
- Trading address: TRADING_ADDRESS (if different)
- Contact: thebigballerchallenge@gmail.com • CONTACT_PHONE
2) Eligibility
- Entrants must be 18 years or over at the time of entry. We may require satisfactory proof of age/identity prior to releasing a prize.
- Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom (and any other territories expressly listed on the relevant competition page). Entries from prohibited jurisdictions are void.
- Our employees, contractors, or anyone professionally connected with the operation of a competition (and their household members) may be excluded at our discretion.
3) Nature of Our Competitions (Skill/Knowledge)
Our competitions are intended to be skill- or knowledge-based prize competitions andnot lotteries or games of chance. Each competition requires entrants to answer a question, solve a problem, or complete a task that involves skill, knowledge or judgment. We may also include tie-breaker questions where required. Entries that do not correctly answer the entry question (or otherwise meet the stated skill requirement) are invalid.
4) Free Entry Route (No Purchase Necessary)
To help ensure our competitions are not lotteries, we provide a free-entry route. To enter a live competition for free, send a legibly handwritten postcard by first-class post including: (a) competition name, (b) your full name, postal address, email, and phone number, (c) your answer to the skill question, and (d) the number of entries requested (up to the per-person limit for that competition), to:
FREE ENTRY, The Big Baller Challenge LTD, 53 Wigston Lane, Aylestone, UNITED KINGDOM
- One competition request per postcard (bulk or automated mail is void).
- Postcards must be received before the competition close (we are not responsible for delays or losses in the post).
- Free entries are processed like paid entries and have an equal chance of winning. You will receive confirmation by email if your entry is accepted.
5) Opening & Closing; Entry Limits
- Each competition opens and closes on the dates/times stated on its page. We may extend or bring forward a closing date for bona fide operational reasons (e.g., website failure), which will be communicated on the Site.
- We may cap the total number of entries (“ticket limit”) and/or the maximum number of entries per person; limits appear on each competition page. Once sold out, further purchases/requests are blocked.
- Entries are only valid once payment clears (for paid entries) or once a compliant free entry is received and accepted.
6) Prices, Payments & Taxes
- Entry prices are shown in GBP (unless otherwise indicated) and are inclusive of applicable VAT where charged.
- Card processing is provided by Stripe or another reputable PSP. We do not store full card numbers. You authorise us to take payment for the entries you order.
- Promotional codes/credits are discretionary and may be withdrawn if misused or if a competition is cancelled/refunded.
7) Refunds, Cancellations & Substitutions
- Tickets are non-refundable once purchased except as required by law or where we cancel a competition. If we cancel, we will refund entry fees to the original payment method where possible.
- If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we may substitute a prize of equal or higher value (or offer a cash alternative at our discretion).
8) Winner Selection & Publication
- Valid entries are entered into a draw conducted fairly using a randomised process (e.g. verified random number generator) after the closing date and any validation checks.
- We may livestream or publish draw results for transparency. We will notify winners by email and/or phone using the details provided at entry; if we cannot reach a winner within 14 days we may disqualify and redraw.
- We may request winner ID/address to verify eligibility and age before awarding the prize.
- For transparency, we may publish winners’ first name, initial of surname, town/region and winning entry number(s). You can object to non-essential publicity—see our Privacy Policy.
9) Prize Delivery, Risk & Title
- Physical prizes are delivered to a UK address at our cost unless stated otherwise. Risk in the prize passes on delivery. Title passes upon handover and completion of winner checks.
- Vehicle prizes: winners must hold appropriate licences and insurance; you are responsible for ongoing running costs, tax, insurance, and compliance.
- Cash prizes are paid by bank transfer to a UK bank account in the winner’s name.
10) Fair Play & Prohibited Conduct
- You must not use bots, scripts, multiple identities, disposable emails, or other methods to circumvent entry limits or skill requirements.
- We may void entries, withhold or recover prizes, and/or suspend accounts where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, unlawful conduct or breach of these Terms.
11) Age Verification & Responsible Play
- We operate 18+ only. We may use age/identity checks (e.g., third-party verification, document checks) before awarding a prize.
- Please play responsibly. For support visit BeGambleAware or GamCare.
12) Accounts, Security & Your Information
- You are responsible for your account credentials and for keeping them secure.
- You must keep your contact details up to date. We are not responsible for missed prize notifications due to inaccurate details.
- Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy & Cookies Policy.
13) Our Liability
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited by law.
- Subject to the above, we are not liable for: (a) losses not caused by our breach; (b) business or indirect losses; (c) failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure); (d) third-party outages.
14) Intellectual Property & Content Rules
- All Site content is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, scrape, or exploit the Site or competition materials without our permission.
- If you submit content (e.g., reviews, social posts), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce and display such content for marketing in connection with the competition business, subject to your privacy rights.
15) Anti-Money Laundering & Checks
We may conduct proportionate AML, sanctions and fraud checks and may refuse, void or refund entries or withhold prizes where required by law or our payment partners.
16) Changes to Competitions or Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time (e.g., to reflect law or product changes). The version in force at the time of your entry applies to that entry. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
17) Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers resident elsewhere in the UK may bring claims in their local courts under mandatory local laws.
